So at long last here is a compilation of renders and screen shots from my journey creating my first 3D character model. It began in September when I foolishly decided to do my action analysis in 3D, and make all my own assets. I rigged a very early haggard looking version of him to do my assignment, which no one will ever see. So the real serious texturing, lighting and rendering didn't happen until this semester.

3rd year LD
So back at it again, in third year now. Have been going to extra life almost every night which is great! This is the first of hopefully many LD posts. Lately I've been trying to move away from the Hampton esk looking drawings, trying to add more gesture and line quality, but struggling hard. Starting to study Loomis hopefully he can help me :| but lots more LD to come!
If your reading this you can also expect some 3D character models currently in progress and some group film stuff! (Also 3D) AND I also want to update my blog header with a more Swordinary motif.
Anyways if you like, follow me because right now I"m preaching to 5 followers :(.

Summer LD
So I've only been to 2 life drawing sessions this summer, these are the few drawings I kinda liked. Hard to keep your skills up with 3 hours of ld a month :(
Pen n Ink fun
Some recent studies done, all from different eras and parts of the world. Inspired by Sergio Toppi an amazing french illustrator with a unique cross-hatching style. Done in india ink with a calligraphy pen.
